PROFILE
As the Managing Director responsible for the Detroit Innovation Hub, Mr. Ernzen is responsible
for leading all components of Accenture’s innovation architecture in Michigan. The objective of
the Innovation Hub is to co-create experiences with clients where they can explore, experiment
and deliver new solutions that create exceptional business value. The Detroit Hub includes the
Industry X.0 Center, the Quantum Computing Experience Zone, the Detroit Digital Delivery
Studio, and is closely coordinated with the Michigan offices of Pillar (The Forge), MXM and
Mackevision.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Mr. Ernzen joined the Detroit office of Accenture (Andersen Consulting) in 1995, and has spent
the past 24 years focused on the delivery of innovative solutions to clients.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Ernzen led Accenture’s Transmission and Distribution Utilities
business in North America for several years. He led multiple large-scale transformation
programs to help companies deliver business outcomes and value within their organizations.

CIVIC INVOLVEMENT
Based in Detroit, Michigan, Mr. Ernzen serves on the Board of Trustees at the Autism Alliance
of Michigan, and as a Commissioner at the Greening of Detroit.
