Jonathan H. Schwartz is an accomplished metro-Detroit based entertainment and business attorney at Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss. His diverse practice includes representation of musicians, artists, athletes and cultural institutions in a wide variety of litigation and corporate matters. Recently, Jonathan spearheaded the startup of a company revolutionizing the music recording industry, helped launch an Emmy-nominated television show on a major broadcast network, negotiated and closed lucrative recording and merchandise agreements for local talent, and successfully protected the intellectual property of well-known and emerging entertainers. Jonathan is the immediate past Chair of the State Bar of Michigan’s Arts, Communications, Entertainment, and Sports Law section, and sits on the board of directors of the Jewish Bar Association of Michigan, Humble Design and NEXTGen Detroit.
